V Revolution Oldham Street Manchester - 14th January 2015

I have been following the guys at V Revolution for ages and it has been on my bucket list to visit, so a recent trip to Manchester was the perfect excuse.  We wanted a cup of tea and a cake, as we had eaten a large breakfast and so the awesome looking maple and pecan sponge cake on display was the obvious choice.   Two huge slices of cake and two large cups of tea was £9.60 so its definitely a bargain.  The cake was fabulous, tasted as good as it looked and I did not want to finish it was so delicious.  We got talking to the two guys Dom and Andy who kindly recommended other places to visit that cater for vegans.   They have an in-house baker who unfortunately was off sick that day so the cake we sampled was made by Lily and Dilly.  Our next visit will have to be to sample one of their burgers or hotdogs, proper vegan junk food which is fabulous, I don't want to be healthy all the time.
